It only took me 4 years but I do now have a full website consisting of mainly wave pictures but does include a few non wave pictures.

Inverted...Cool wave sets ..again...

   Shot this north of Fort Bragg last weekend. The waves were kicking and kept building all day...

    The set's were tight and kept coming. They were larger than they look like in this picture...Room for improvement..

Storm waves....Finally..

   The storm waves are finally starting to roll in...We went for over a year without any real waves....They're back..

Dark wave....

    The sun was way to bright but the waves were kicking and so I was there. This isn't my best but I do like the jagged look with massive shadow...weird but cool..

Wavegarden..

    There were waves alll over the place today but I managed to take a bunch of crappy photos....I did get a few and this was one. I love a dramatic photo..

Africa...ish

    This is a blog about waves but the other day when out looking for waves in which there were none, I got board and started taking random pictures.

I hate taking non wave pictures but when I got home and processed this one, I really liked it. I think this is very cool with great colors..... Looks like Africa to me but alas, it's in Mendocino....

Wavy day in Mendo....

    The wave was much bigger than it looks here but this does have some cool shape and I really like the colors......Shot the wave off of Spring Ranch  just South of Mendocino.......I use a Nikon D3100 in case anyone's curious.....

   I was shooting some pictures this afternoon just south of Fort Bragg. These arent my best pictures but I like the colors and the contrast. The water was turbulent and there were some big waves...

Evening waves on a cloudy day........

    I have posted this before but the ocean has been fairly flat here so no new pics to post , HOWEVER looks like Sunday there will be some pretty large waves so If I get some new pics Ill post em here........

Groovy wave shot...

    This is kind of a funky pic of a wave. I like it because of the striation on the wave. I have shot several like this but this wave is bigger......Shot on the coast here in Mendocino country, CA...

Chiliwak...The crawling wave...

  I like it when a wave looks like it's crawling. It didn't look that way when I shot it but at this exact point in the progress of the wave it did...Love it...I name all of them and I called this one Chiliwak...I have no idea what the name means but it popped into my head and I named it...Just in case you're curious..

Loving the Sunset waves...

     This was part of my photo shoot that I posted yesterday. I don't do many sunset pics but now I will start. As soon as I post this I'm headed down south past Mendocino to get some sunrise shots. If I get some good photos, you guy's will be some of the first to know..

Greenie Weenie...Direct wave strike..

   The light was weird and the waves were hit and miss. I love the Aqua color through the wave.

 The general result in the evening which is when I shot this is the sun is behind the wave and it looks a nice Aqua green.

 In the morning when the light is on the face directly it's more blue...that's assuming there is sunshine.

Basic information that most know but just in case...now you know.

NOTE: This is the first photo that I have edited in Light room...pretty cool program..

Sunset waves in NorCal

   In case anyone is curious, I had to stop posting because we had no waves for over a year and I ran out of photo's to post. The waves are starting to roll in again and I now do have some  new photos to post. I did a photo shoot yesterday at a park north of Fort Bragg..

I should be posting again on a regular basis so keep the page bookmarked, follow the blog if you want and Ill try to start adding some great new pics. This was a PM sunset shot which came out great...

Bird on the wave..

 This was shot last summer off of the spring Ranch headlands. I am ALWAYS trying to get at least one in the picture, but more is better. I have never shot a perfect shot of a brown pelican but I like this one. It's all about timing...

Green wave with the crystal lip

   This was shot from the beach at Big river near Mendocino, Ca. They only get the bigger waves when you get a swell from the south. It sucks that we have had no waves this winter at all but hopefully this Summer that will change and I can get some more shots from here.. Even if there are no waves here , it's a great place to be..

Wave Blast.....

    I shoot most of my dramatic pictures here. When there are waves here they do all kinds of crazy things. I can't wait for the next set of big waves to roll in because when they do , this is where Ill be....
